Our language holidays in Australia are open to young people aged 13 to 17 who want to improve their English skills, meet new friends from all over the world and enjoy an unforgettable holiday in an exotic environment. Surfing enthusiasts will be able to practise their passion in internationally renowned spots such as Manly Beach or Byron Bay.

The programme includes: 15 hours of English lessons per week in the mornings

  • Number of students per class: 11-12 on average
  • Timetable: classes take place in the mornings from 9am to 10.30am and from 10.45am to 12.15pm
  • Placement test: on the first day of the course
  • Certificate of attendance at the end of the course
  • Weekly progress evaluation
  • All teachers are university graduates (BA or Master) with specific training in teaching their mother tongue to foreigners
  • Levels offered: beginner to advanced

Often referred to as“The World’s Most Liveable City“, Perth is a modern, bustling metropolis nestled between the red desert and the vibrant blue of the Indian Ocean.

Perth lies on the banks of the Swan River and stretches as far as the Indian Ocean coast to the west. The city is renowned for its extensive beaches, sunny climate and relaxed atmosphere. It is fairly isolated from Australia’s other major cities, with the nearest business centre being Adelaide, some 2,130 kilometres to the east.

The Perth school is just a short walk from Scarborough beach and less than twenty minutes from Perth’s central business district. It comprises

Manly, Sydney’s northern suburb, offers a unique and privileged setting away from the noise and bustle of the Business District, just a 15-minute ferry ride from the city centre.

Manly is the birthplace of Australian surfing and is still one of the most famous surf spots in the world.

The school is located just across the road from Manly’s famous beach. It comprises

Noosa

Considered one of Australia’s most popular seaside resorts, Noosa’s white sandy beaches, turquoise blue waters and lush national park provide the perfect backdrop for a language study holiday and for water and outdoor activities. You can meet koalas, swim with dolphins or explore the vast deserted beaches with your friends.

Noosa is a warm and welcoming town, a 2-hour drive north of Brisbane, Queensland’s state capital.

It is located in a residential area, 20 minutes’ walk from the many beaches and close to the attractions of the city centre

Byron Bay is a destination like no other. Its inhabitants share the same values of environmental protection and social justice. Here, the family car is replaced by the bicycle and a trip to the shop means a visit to one of the local farmers’ markets. It’s a window onto a unique alternative lifestyle. Top surfing, yoga and Australia’s best music scene make Byron Bay a superb, fun and surprisingly diverse adventure destination.

Byron Bay School

It’s a 20-minute walk from the beaches and close to the city centre and its attractions. It comprises

  • Terrace with barbecue
  • Large lawn with volleyball net
  • Supervision and assistance by school staff
  • Fully equipped kitchen (tea or coffee available)

Single or shared room depending on the family, shared bathroom and full board

From Monday to Friday, lunch is taken at the school.

Families in Sydney are located within 30 to 40 minutes of the school by public transport. In Noosa and Byron Bay, homestay accommodation is within walking distance of the school, although during the high season (July/August) we may have to place students a little further out of town. In this case, students will stay with families who live close to local transport links or will use a bicycle.

Australian families generally live in fairly spacious houses and are very active.

Practical information :

  • Laundry facilities (the family usually provides a washing machine once a week or lets you know when the washing is done)
