Our partner school France Langue has just moved into its new premises, an exceptional 5-storey mansion, located in the heart of the Europe district, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.

Before & after your French experience

By logging on to the Teams platform, 2 weeks before your arrival and for 12 weeks after your departure, you can interact with teachers and other students.

French courses: general information

  • Duration of a lesson: 45 minutes
  • Number of students per class: maximum 12 (average 8)
  • Level test: before departure and on the first day of the course
  • Certificate of attendance at the end of the course
  • Teachers are qualified to teach their language to foreigners
  • Plus 2 free online language workshops per week with all course options

The courses are open to all levels, from false beginner A1 to advanced C1. They consist of 20 lessons of 45 minutes each spread over the week, in the morning or afternoon from Monday to Friday. They take place in the morning or afternoon.

This option is perfect for those who wish to learn or improve their French while having enough free time to enjoy their stay in France.

In addition to the general French courses, additional sessions of 1h30 are offered. These are workshops focused on a particular element of the French language corresponding to your needs and preferences.

The workshops are chosen according to your level of French, your needs and preferences, as well as the places available and the course formula chosen.

A choice of 20 or 26 lessons per week to :

  • Develop the 4 fundamental skills: written and oral expression and comprehension. Emphasis on oral communication
  • Express themselves with ease and fluency in everyday, professional and university situations according to their level and objectives
  • Develop knowledge of French culture and civilisation
  • Reinforce vocabulary and fundamental grammatical points

Thematic workshops

They allow you to progress more quickly, to improve your language skills and to enrich your knowledge of French culture.

They can focus on linguistic elements such as speaking, writing or phonetics and grammar, but also, for more advanced levels, on more cultural themes such as current affairs or traditions and civilisation.

Other workshops offer preparation for the DELF/DALF exams, ideal for students wishing to enter a French university or to have their level of French certified for professional or personal reasons.

In addition to the French courses, the school invites you to participate in the activities, visits or evenings that it organises in Paris every week. These activities can be free or at cost and their frequency varies according to the time of year.

Excursions to numerous destinations are also offered at weekends in collaboration with specialised partners: Giverny and Monet’s gardens, Normandy (Etretat, Honfleur…), Lille, Mont-Saint-Michel, Champagne, Alsace…

Choosing to stay with a French family is the surest way to discover a different way of life and to practise French every day in a warm and friendly environment.

Our partner school takes great care in selecting its host families.

Travel time to the school: families are located at a maximum of 35-40 minutes by public transport and near a bus, metro or RER station.

Year-round residence

The student hotel is a modern residence located only 5 metro stops from the Champs-Elysées. It is a good choice for students who want to meet other young people, while maintaining their own privacy.

The Cité Universitaire Internationale is a unique concept in the world, with its 40 houses spread over a 34-hectare campus with all the amenities: restaurants, sports facilities, cultural centre, theatre, reception service.
