Here, you’ll discover the Nice art of living, an extraordinary cultural and artistic heritage to which the greatest painters, writers and musicians have contributed, as well as a typically Provençal cuisine: salade niçoise, pan Bagnat, tapenade, pissaladière, and of course olives and the unmissable ratatouille are some of the region’s specialities that you can sample in typical Nice restaurants.
But Nice is also the economic hub of the south of France, bustling with dynamism and attracting students from all over the world. It is also considered the artistic and cultural metropolis of the Côte d’Azur, with a wide range of renowned museums, festivals and events to suit all tastes.
Our partner school, France Langue, is located in the Libération-Borriglione district, a bourgeois and multicultural area, very lively, with numerous cafés, bars and restaurants, artists’ studios, a cinema complex and a market with a typically Nice atmosphere!

Learning French at France Langue is divided into several modules:

You have free access to the online platform from 2 weeks before your arrival until 12 weeks after the end of the course.
Before & after your French experience
By logging on to the Teams platform 2 weeks before your arrival and for 12 weeks after your departure, you can chat with teachers and other students.
French courses: general information
- Length of lesson: 45 minutes
- Number of students per class: maximum 12 (average 8)
- Placement test: before departure and on the first day of the course

Courses are open to all levels, from complete beginner to advanced C1. They consist of 20 lessons of 45 minutes spread over the week, in the mornings or afternoons from Monday to Friday.
This option is perfect for those who want to learn or improve their French while still having enough free time to enjoy their stay in France.
In addition to the general French courses, additional 1h30 sessions are offered. These are workshops focusing on a particular element of the French language that corresponds to your needs and preferences.
The workshops are chosen according to your level of French, your needs and preferences, as well as the number of places available and the course formula chosen.
A choice of 20 to 30 lessons per week to :

THEMED WORKSHOPS

These enable you to make faster progress, improve your language skills and broaden your knowledge of French culture.
They can focus on linguistic elements such as speaking, writing, phonetics and grammar, but also, for more advanced levels, on more cultural themes such as current affairs, traditions and civilisation.
Other workshops offer preparation for the DELF/DALF exams, ideal for students wishing to enter a French university, for example, or to have their level of French certified for professional or personal reasons.

In addition to the French courses, the school invites you to take part in the visits and excursions organised each week in collaboration with its partners. These activities may be free or at cost, and their frequency varies according to the time of year.
Examples of activities organised by the school: visits to local areas, friendly aperitifs, picnics, beach activities, etc.
Examples of activities organised by an external partner: wine and cheese tasting, canyoning, cookery, tennis, excursions to Provence, the Verdon Gorges, the Nice hinterland, Monaco or even Italy…
Last but not least, the Côte d’Azur is full of events throughout the year. With a bit of luck, you’ll be able to enjoy the circus festival, the Monaco Grand Prix, the Nice Carnival, the Jazz Festival, or even the Cannes International Film Festival…
A city of arts and culture, Nice has the largest number of museums after Paris, and offers a lively day and night programme during the summer months.

Travel time to the school: families are generally located no more than 35-40 minutes away by public transport.

Appart’City Acropolis***
The Appart’City Acropolis residence is located in a lively area of Nice, just a few minutes’ walk from the Nice Acropolis convention centre, the exhibition centre and a large sports complex with swimming pool. Vieux-Nice is just 20 minutes from the residence on foot or by tram. The tram stop, Vauban, is right at the foot of the residence.
