Our partner school has over 30 years’ experience. Located 5 minutes’ walk from the city centre, the school is well served by public transport: 2 bus stops are just opposite the entrance.

Every year, school groups and professionals from all over the world come to the school for language study holidays. This cultural diversity makes for rich classes: lively discussions and debates go hand in hand with an atmosphere that is both studious and friendly.

French courses: general information

Length of lesson: 45 minutes
Number of students per class: between 5 and 10
Timetable: lessons are generally given in the morning and/or afternoon, depending on the course chosen
Placement test: on the first day of the course
Certificate of attendance at the end of the course
University-qualified teachers (master’s degree in French as a foreign language)

20 lessons of general French per week
Maximum duration: 10 weeks

With this programme, you will have lessons every morning from 9:00 to 10:30 and from 11:00 to 12:30, from Monday to Friday. You will develop the 4 basic skills of written and oral expression, listening comprehension and reading.

Classes end at 3.30pm on the 1st day, as the school organises a placement test, information session and city tour for new students.

Levels offered: beginner (A0) to advanced (C2)

20 lessons per week
Duration: 8, 16 or 24 weeks

This course is designed for adults wishing to consolidate their knowledge of French. The content is based on the language skills required for the DELF exam.

Levels offered: elementary (A2) to intermediate (B1)

20 group lessons 10 mini-group lessons (5 to 10 students)

Maximum duration: 10 weeks

In addition to the standard course, in the afternoons you will follow 10 themed lessons in small groups (3 to 6 students) focusing on oral practice and developing your knowledge: conversation, French culture (through the media, literature, theatre, music, etc.), phonetics and writing games, study visits, etc. Classes run from Monday to Friday according to the following timetable:

5 mornings a week: 9.00am – 10.30am; 11.00am – 12.30pm
5 afternoons per week: 2 – 3.30pm

On the 1st day, classes may finish later as the school organises a placement test, information session and city tour for new students.

Levels offered: elementary (A1) to advanced (C2)

This tailor-made option offers maximum flexibility for students with specific needs. Courses can take place in the morning or afternoon, as required.

Lessons are always organised in pairs (1h30).

Possible combinations:

Standard courses of 4 to 10 private lessons per week in the afternoon
Private lessons only, from 2 to 40 lessons per week in the morning or afternoon

Levels offered: beginner (A0) to advanced (C2)

Duration: 2 weeks

This programme combines the standard programme or 20 private lessons with cultural options in the afternoon, to be chosen from :

Discovering Provence (approx. 20 hours): excursions and guided tours, tasting of local produce.
Discovering Provence on foot (approx. 17 hrs): guided hikes through the magnificent Provençal landscapes that have attracted painters from all over the world for centuries.

Levels offered: elementary (A1) to advanced (C2)
Minimum number of students required per option: 4 (the school reserves the right to modify the number of lessons/activities if the number of participants is lower than that indicated).

The school organises sports and cultural activities in the afternoons and evenings, in which you are free to participate or not. These activities may be free or at cost and their frequency varies according to the time of year.

Horse riding

Sailing (mainly in summer, but available all year round on request)
Full-day or half-day weekend excursions: Arles, Avignon, Cassis, Marseille, Saint-Tropez, Baux-de-Provence, Camargue, Pont du Gard, Luberon, etc.

Single room and half board

Travel time to school: families are carefully selected within a radius of around 20 minutes by bus or 30 minutes on foot.

Practical information :

Bed linen and towels provided and changed weekly (towels) or fortnightly (sheets)
Laundry service available (1x/week)
Cleaning will be done once a week
All diets are accepted, but subject to availability (gluten or lactose intolerance, vegetarian, vegan, etc.)

Day of arrival: Sunday around 6pm
Day of departure: Saturday around 10am

Arrival station or airport: Marseille – Provence airport – Aix-en-Provence TGV station
