Bray is a resort town located on the shore of the Irish sea. Only 35 minutes by train from Dublin, visitors can enjoy the calmness of the seaside as well as the capital’s dynamism. It is host to various festivals and activities all over the year, which makes it a perfect and attractive town to study in.

Just remember to bring a laptop, a tablet or a smartphone equipped with a microphone and a camera.

English language courses: the basics

  • Lesson length: 60 minutes
  • Class size: 15 students maximum (10-12 on average)
  • Schedule: morning lessons and afternoon language workshops (free and optional)
  • Placement test: first day of lessons
  • Free access to school e-learning platform
  • Certificate of completion at the end of your stay
  • Regular progress tests

20 lessons per week

This programme focuses on the four main skills reading, writing, speaking and listening, as well as grammar and vocabulary. The main purpose of the course is to develop your ability to communicate efficiently in English. Classes are held in the mornings from Monday to Friday.

Language level: beginner to advanced

26 lessons per week

This is the most intensive course. In addition to the 20 standard lessons, you have the opportunity to add 6 extra lessons whose emphasis will be on oral and fluent practice. Classes are held in the mornings and the afternoons from Monday to Friday.

Language level: beginner to advanced

Students can choose to study and prepare for the main English exams in order to validate officially their language level. Sessions are held on a 6 or 9-week basis (see Dates and Prices tab) and are organized the following way: 20 lessons per week focused on exam training of your choice.

Language level : intermediate (B1)

10 or 20 hours of English lessons online with your teacher and other students of the same level as you.

Those courses can be taken before your departure, during a quarantine period when required, when you return to keep progressing or at any time which suits you best.

Shared room, shared bathroom, half board.

Distance from the school: accessible on foot.

  • Laundry: your host family will let you use their laundry facilities once a week (for long stays)
