Language programme in Marbella
Marbella is a famous seaside resort on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain, which has preserved its typical Andalusian charm.
Situated between the sea and the mountains, Marbella has everything you could wish for, with some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, picturesque streets in the heart of the old town, beautiful parks and gardens, and many luxury yachts.

Students are divided into 3 different campuses depending on their age:
Located on one of the rolling hills that surround Marbella, the campus offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean. It’s spread out over 30 000 metres in an upscale residential area. Students will enjoy several trips to the beach throughout their stay (private bus service to surrounding beaches).

This vast campus is situated on the prestigious area of “Colegio Alboran”. Surrounded by a pine forest, the campus is located 15 minutes from the beach and 13 km from Marbella city centre, in a cool pine forest, spread over 38 000 metres. Students will enjoy several trips to the beach throughout their stay (private bus service to surrounding beaches).

The campus is located in the centre of Marbella, 8 minutes from the beach and old town on foot which is ideal for those aged 15 – 17 years old. Students have a couple of hours of free time each week to explore the town centre.

Spanish lessons
20 Spanish lessons per week
- Lesson length: 45 minutes
- Class size: average 8 students (maximum 14, 8 on average)
- Placement test: first day of lessons
- Certificate of completion at the end of the course
- Qualified native Spanish teachers to foreign students
- Language levels: beginner to advanced
Activities & excursions
Along with 4 Spanish lessons per day, students take part in a whole range of exciting sports, Spanish culture and leisure activities during their stay. Students are separated into age-appropriate groups for these activities.
Some of the many activities available include:
- Guided tour of Marbella
- Flamenco show
- Half-day excursions to Puerto Banus, Bonsai Museum, etc
- Day excursions to Cordoba, Sevilla, Malaga and the Picasso Museum, Ronda, Mijas, the Nerja caves, etc. (minimum of 2 weeks stay)

Residence
Features:
- Depending on the campus, students will stay in 6-14 bed single-sex dorms, grouped by age and gender (14-bed dorms for younger students).
- Shared bathrooms for younger students
- Bathroom in each 6 bed dorm for older students
- Full board
- Capacity: 180-220 students
- On Campus site residence
- Laundry service: once every 2 weeks
- Note: students should bring a laundry bag and all clothes should be labelled

Arrivals: Sunday
Departures: Saturday
Arrival/departure airport and stations:
- Malaga Airport/Railway Station/Bus Station: roundtrip transfer to and from accommodation at extra cost.
Please note: do not make travel arrangements until we have confirmed your enrolment on the programme.
Permission to leave the campus grounds (15+ only)
Students aged 15+ only and presenting a signed consent form from their parents will be granted permission to leave the grounds until 22:30 on their own within the limits of 3 outings per session of 2 weeks. Outing days are determined by the centre manager.
Students under 15 or students 15+ not given a signed parental consent form, will by no means be allowed to leave the grounds.
The whole course and activity programme is organised in order to occupy the students’ timetable as much as possible.
