Spanish camp for young students in Madrid
Madrid, the capital of Spain, located right in the centre of the Iberian Peninsula, is a bustling, modern city of around 4 million inhabitants. The city’s charm, contrasts, mix of ancient and modern architecture and vibrant energy are all there for the taking!
Students will be able to explore the historic centre of Madrid: the Gran Vía (Madrid’s main thoroughfare), the Plaza Mayor, the Parque Retiro, the Palacio Real, etc. during supervised outings.

Courses take place in the main residence of the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, one of Spain’s most prestigious universities. This large campus, with its many green spaces, is located in Majadahonda, just outside Madrid. An ideal place to ensure everyone’s safety.

Spanish lessons
20 Spanish lessons per week
- Length of lesson: 45 minutes
- Maximum number of students per class: 15 (average 8)
- Level test: on the first day of the course
- Certificate of attendance at the end of the course
- Teachers are qualified to teach their mother tongue to foreigners
- Levels offered: beginner to advanced
Activities included: as well as language lessons, students take part in a full programme ofcultural, sporting and leisure activities. During the activities, young people are grouped by age: 5 to 10, 11 to 14 and 15 to 17.
Example of possible activities:
- Cultural and leisure activities every afternoon: guided tour of Madrid, visit to the historic centre, dance workshop, theatre workshop, Escorial Palace, Aquapark, Prado Museum, etc.
- Various sports
- One-day excursions per 2-week stay: visits to Toledo, Ávila, Segovia, Salamanca, etc.
- Evenings: barbecue, cinema, disco, themed evenings, treasure hunts, shows (music, theatre, talent show, etc.)
Below is an example of a day’s timetable (given as an example and subject to change):
Sports options at extra cost(a choice of one option per 2-week stay) :
- Tennis: 12 sessions
- Paddle tennis: 12 sessions
- Horse riding: 12 sessions
- Football: 16 sessions
Note: your option may not always be compatible with the other activities at the camp, as timetables may overlap.

- Location: on the campus of the Francisco de Vitoria University, located in Majadahonda on the Carretera Pozuelo, just outside Madrid
- Laundry service: once every 15 days (to facilitate this service, your child must bring a laundry bag and his/her clothes must be marked)

Arrival station or airport: Madrid airport, train station or bus station: return transfer at extra cost

Authorisation to leave the school (from age 15)
Young people aged15 and over with parental authorisation are allowed to go out in the evenings until 10.30pm unaccompanied by an adult, for a maximum of 3 outings per 2-week session. The days of the outings are set by the centre director.
Young people under the age of 15 or those aged 15 and over without parental authorisation are not permitted to leave the campus under any circumstances. The course programme and the various activities are designed to make the most of their time.
