Benalmádena

Benalmádena is located at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas, just 20 kilometres away from Malaga. Originally a fishing village, it has become a lively and animated town with a population of 30,000. However, it still retains its quaint charm and character, complete with beautiful and traditional little white-washed houses.

The friendly people, sports activities (water sports, golf, horseback riding), clubs, Flamenco shows, and the natural beauty of the seaside make Benalmádena the perfect place to study, have fun, and relax. The climate is mild, varying between a minimum winter temperature of 5°C and 35°C during the summer, making it a great place to study in all year round.

Its geographical location in the South of Andalusia makes it the ideal starting point to travel to larger cities that are rich in culture and heritage, like the Alhambra in Grenada, the Mezquita in Córdoba, the Giralda, and the historic city of Seville.

The Colegio Maravillas is situated in the residential area of Benalmádena, about ten minutes from the beach. It is officially recognized by the Instituto Cervantes.

This prestigious private school was founded in 1976 and is entirely equipped with modern facilities.

Accredited by: ELITE, FEDELE, the Bildungsurlaub of the German government and recognised by the Swedish government (CSN).

School facilities include:

  • 14 large and well equipped classrooms
  • A large library
  • An IT room with free internet access
  • Multi-function room – film viewing, conference room
  • A large patio
  • A cafeteria
  • Lounge rooms for the students to relax in
