German courses: general information

  • Open to students aged 14 to 17
  • Length of lesson: 45 minutes
  • Course duration: between 2 and 9 weeks
  • Maximum number of students per class: 10 to 12 (maximum 15)
  • Timetable: lessons are generally given in the morning but can also be organised in the afternoon
  • Placement test: on the first day of the course
  • Certificate of attendance at the end of the course

The programme offers 20 lessons from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Levels offered: elementary to advanced (A1 to C1)

Intensive course

24 lessons of general German per week

You will follow the standard programme plus 4 German lessons per week, normally on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 13.00 to 14.30.

Every afternoon and evening, the school organises sports, games, arts and leisure activities. At weekends, it’s time for excursions!

Every 2-week stay includes an excursion day. A detailed timetable will be given to students at the beginning of their stay.

  • Deposit to be paid on site (see “Dates & Prices” tab), refundable by the school at the end of your stay if no damage is found

Our summer course in Munich takes place at the Hotel A&O Munich-Laim. This youth hotel provides us with single-floor rooms for our participants. You will share your room with other international participants from the did deutsch-institut. As far as possible, we will try not to place you with people of the same nationality or mother tongue.

Travel arrangements :

Arrival day: Sunday (between 4pm and 8pm) Departure day: Saturday (between 8am and 11am)
