This course develops the 4 fundamental skills of written and oral expression, listening comprehension and reading, as well as the different language areas: grammar, vocabulary and functional English. The emphasis is on learning practical English for everyday life.

Different timetables are offered:
Daytime classes: from 8.00am to 12.15pm. In high season, they can also run from 12:30 to 16:45

Evening classes: 17:00 to 21:15

It is also possible to concentrate classes over 3 days:
Monday and Tuesday: 8:00 to 17:00
Wednesday: 8:00 to 12:15

Levels offered: beginner (A1) to advanced (C2)

Intensive course

23 hours of general English per week

Ideal course for rapid progress. This course includes thesemi-intensive General English module of 20 hours per week, 3 hours of optional courses (2 x 1h30, Tuesday and Wednesday or Thursday and Friday from 1pm to 2.30pm).

Options: Business English, Speaking & Pronunciation, Aussie Life, Writing for Exams, EAP (English for Academic Purposes). Options are available according to your language level.

Levels offered: beginner (A1) to advanced (C2)

Every week, the school organises cultural activities in the afternoons and evenings, in which you are free to participate or not. These activities may be free or offered at cost, and their frequency varies according to the time of year.

Shared flat accommodation allows you to live with students of different nationalities. The location of the residence depends on availability at the time of your stay.

The houses or flats are located in the Southbank, CBD, Abbotsford, Docklands, South Melbourne, Brunswick East, West Melbourne areas and allow a quick journey to the school located in the city centre.

  • The student visa allows you to stay in Australia for the duration of your studies and to enter and leave the country freely during this time. The minimum course duration for a student visa is 24 weeks. The maximum is 5 years
  • This visa also allows you to work, provided that you do not work more than 48 hours a fortnight, excluding school holidays. The waiting time is generally less than 2 months. A student visa costs AU$650, payable by credit card on the government website when you apply for your visa. This amount is given as an indication and may change at any time. Credit card charges are extra.
  • European passport holders can apply for a visa online. This exempts them from the biometric process (fingerprinting). Non-EU nationals will still have to undergo fingerprinting for all visa applications.
