Cape Town

A language stay in Cape Town is an unforgettable experience. Whether it’s the Mediterranean climate, crystal waters, white sandy beaches, the natural surroundings, historic districts or lively atmosphere, Cape Town has something for everyone.

A hugely popular destination, Cape Town is by far the safest city in South Africa. Being the old capital of the British colony, English is one of Cape Town’s official languages.

A mixture of cultures, religions and people, the city offers a cosmopolitan atmosphere that remains lively day and night. The three universities nearby also attract a large number of international students.

Nature lovers can explore the numerous national parks and discover the local wildlife or try quality wines. With an exceptional climate, you can play numerous sports year round in Cape Town: Diving, sailing, surfing, horse riding, paragliding etc.

Our partner school LAL was established in 1995 and moved to new facilities in 2011. Located in the heart of the hip Sea Point area, LAL is only a few blocks away from the centre of town and the sea. Wander round the huge shopping mall overlooking the sea and grab dinner at one of the many delicious restaurants it has to offer.

If you choose LAL, you’ll be able to access the school’s online learning platform. This platform lets you view the facilities, see the activity planning, book an evening activity and benefit from help and advice concerning your journey to Cape Town. This platform will be available 3 months after your programme has ended to ensure that you can continue learning English even after you have returned home.
