You will discover a world that is completely different from ours, from food, to habits and customs, so much so that you will sometimes feel as if you live on another planet.
The school is located in the business district 5 minutes walk from Da Wang Lu subway station and close to many restaurants, 2 large shopping malls, a sports complex with gym and swimming pool, as well as the BEC University. The courses are adapted to western students. Classes are given in very small groups, so that each student receives individual attention from the teachers.

Mandarin lessons: general information
- Lesson length: 55 minutes
- Timetable : classes are from Monday to Friday from 10 to 12 and 1pm to 3pm.
- Class size: 6 (3 in average)
- New topics introduced every day
- Online language test before arrival in Beijing
- Classes adapted to young people
The program includes :

- 20 lessons of mandarin
- 5 half-days of activities from Monday to Friday
- 1 full day excursion (Saturday)
- Evenings at the residence or with the family
- Sunday: activities organized in the residence or activities with the host family
After school, students participate in diverse supervised activities.

- Visit the Forbidden City & Jingshan Park
- Visit old Beijing (Wudaoying and Hutong)
- Panjiayan Market
- The Temple of the Lamas
- Tai Qi Classes
- Introduction to calligraphy
- Cooking class
- Climbing
- Pottery
- Table tennis
- Visit to the zoo, etc.
Excursions
On Saturdays, a full day excursion is organized.
Examples of excursions :
- The Great Wall of China
- The Summer Palace
- The Temple of Heaven
- The Olympic Stadium (Bird’s nest) and swimming at the aquatic park (Water Cube)

Families live in modern apartments in recent buildings equipped with WIFI and air conditioning.
Travel time to school : usually within walking distance of the school or close to a direct bus line (max. 45 min on public transport).
