  • Length of lesson: 45 minutes
  • Number of students per class: maximum 14 (average 11) and 6 for mini-group courses
  • Timetable: lessons take place in the morning and/or afternoon
  • Placement test: on the first day of the course
  • Certificate of attendance at the end of the course
  • Free access to the EC-Online platform up to 12 weeks after the end of the course
  • Regular progress assessment (oral test every week, written test every 6 weeks)

4 lessons per day during which you will improve the 4 fundamental skills of written and oral expression, listening comprehension and reading. You will also develop your ability to use practical English in everyday life.

30 lessons of general English per week, i.e. the 20 lessons of general English on the standard course 10 lessons of a module to be chosen from the following options:

– Academic English (note-taking, essay writing, presentations, etc.)

Writing with AI

30 lessons per week, i.e. 20 lessons of general English 10 lessons of business English per week

You develop your general English skills, then focus on using artificial intelligence tools to improve your written English. Writing with AI goes beyond traditional offerings that simply help students become passive users of AI tools. Instead, this special course is designed to help students use AI tools to find their own voice, articulate their unique point of view, and create effective text tools that are undeniably their own, so they can succeed in the global digital community.

This course will help students to:
– Write effective AI prompts
– Analyse, edit and adapt AI-generated responses
– Consider audience and formality
– Organise texts
– Learn key vocabulary and language points
– Incorporate their own voice and tone
– Understand how to use AI ethically
– Compare their written texts with those of their classmates

Minimum level of English : B1 (intermediate)
Duration: 1 to 14 weeks

Every week, the school organises cultural activities in the afternoons and evenings, which you are free to take part in or not. These activities may be free or at cost and their frequency varies according to the time of year. The schedule is available on the EC-Online platform.

The school is open to students aged 16 and over all year round, except during the summer period when the school organises the special 12-17 years programme with courses and supervised activities.

Starting dates: most courses start on Mondays throughout the year, unless otherwise stated below and for mini-groups. If Monday is a public holiday, courses start on Tuesday.
