Summer Camp in Frankfurt

Frankfurt’s impressive skyscraper skyline has earned it the nickname ‘Manhattan’, but finance is not the only thing this multicultural European city is about. Frankfurt is jam-packed with museums, theatres and concert halls. The surrounding scenery is a haven of tranquility, offering respite from the swagger and noise of the big city.

Please note: this course does not accept complete beginners.

German course: the basics

  • Ages 14 – 17
  • Lesson length: 45 minutes
  • Course length: 2 to 5 weeks
  • Class size: Average 10-12 students (maximum 15)
  • Schedule: morning and/or afternoon lessons
  • Placement test: first day of lessons
  • Certificate of completion at the end of the stay

The programme offers 20 lessons from 9am to 12.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Language level: elementary to advanced (A1-C1)

INTENSIVE COURSE

24 General German lessons per week

You will follow the standard programme plus 4 German lessons per week, normally on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 13:00 to 14:30.

Language level: elementary to advanced (A1-C1)

The school organises sports, recreational, artistic and leisure activities 4 afternoons a week. At weekends, there are excursions. Students have free time on Fridays and Sundays.

Every 2-week stay includes a full-day excursion. Students will be given a detailed timetable at the beginning of their stay.

Summer Camp Residence (A&O Hotel)

Quad room, bathroom in each room, full board.

Features:

  • Shared room with international students

  • Travel time to school: 1 minute (on-site accommodation)
  • Location: the summer camp is in the heart of the city, just a short walk from Galluswarte train station.
  • Deposit to be paid on arrival (see Dates & Prices), refunded at the end of your stay provided no damages are incurred

Facilities/Services:

  • A pleasant relaxation area with a roof terrace
  • Bed Linens/towels provided
  • The residence and rooms are cleaned every day, and towels are changed every 4 days. The rest of the time, as in all shared accommodation, cleaning is everyone’s responsibility.

Arrivals: Sunday (between 9 am and 6 pm)
