Spain’s fourth-largest city and the capital of Andalusia, Seville maintains the warmth and intimacy of a small town. To say that Seville possesses a rich history would be an understatement: It’s seen the glory of the Roman Empire, the luxurious sophistication of the Moors, and the Christian reconquest, which eventually gave the city what is now the third largest cathedral in the world.

Study Spanish in Seville and see just how the New World riches were brought to Europe at the Torre de Oro; visit the old Jewish quarter, the Barrio Santa Cruz, with its winding cobblestone streets and white-washed buildings; revel in the Alcázar, an enchanting Islamic palace. Deeply rooted traditions such as the convivial Holy Week processions and flamenco ferias make Seville a stimulating place to learn about Spanish culture, but it’s also a very modern city with accommodating amenities. Succulent Spanish cuisine, traditional tapas, numerous restaurant terraces, authentic flamenco demonstrations, and a vibrant nightlife all contribute to making your stay in Seville an experience you will never forget.

Our partner school is located in a historic building in the El Arenal disctrict, maintaining the charm of southern Spanish architecture while offering the most modern audio/visual equipment and facilities. Located in the city center’s Santa Cruz neighborhood, it was constructed in the early 20th century by the same architect that erected one of Seville’s most famous monuments, the Plaza de España. Many major attractions, restaurants and bars of Seville are right in the vicinity of our academic center.

Spanish language courses: the basics

Lesson length: 55 minutes
Maximum number of students per class: 10 (6 on average)
Schedule: 80% of general Spanish courses take place in the morning, from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm, but can also be arranged in the afternoon from 2 pm to 6 pm, depending on the time of year
Level test: the first day of classes
Certificate of participation at the end of the stay
Free access to the e-learning platform
Teachers graduate to teach their mother tongue to foreign students

20 lessons per week

You will have classes from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm or from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm where you will develop the 4 basic skills: writing, speaking, listening and reading.

Language level: beginner to advanced

25 lessons per week

In addition to 20 general Spanish lessons, you will attend 5 conversation workshops per week. This programme is intended for students wishing to improve fluency and oral skills.

Language level: beginner to advanced

30 lessons per week

Ideal course for fast progress. It includes 20 general Spanish lessons + 5 cultural workshops of your choice + 5 private or semi-private lessons (maximum 2 students per course) per week, adapted to your needs.

Language level: beginner to advanced

Examples of cultural workshops: civilization, press, cinema, creative writing, pronunciation, gastronomy, folklore, games and exercises favouring dialogue and oral communication, etc.

20 Spanish lessons per week (from the age of 18)

Preparatory sessions for these exams are available 2 and 4 weeks before each examination session (see Dates & Prices tab) according to the skill level at the rate of 20 lessons per week.

The DELE (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) is the only certificate for foreigners officially recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education. This degree holds great value for people wishing to study at a Spanish university or work in an environment where one speaks Spanish. We recommend that you take Spanish lessons for a sufficient amount of time before you start DELE preparatory courses and pass the exam.

Language levels: Elementary (A2) to Upper intermediate (B2)

Duration: 2 or 4 weeks

The school regularly organizes social and cultural activities, either for free or for an extra charge depending on the type of activity. Some examples:

Thematic city tours: historic Jewish quarter, Triana, Plaza de España, etc
Museum visits
Spanish film evening
Sevillana or Flamenco courses
Trips to Portugal or Morocco
Excursions to the tourist destinations in Seville, Cordoba, Granada
Weekend at the seaside

	Apartement : Located at a 5-15 minute walk from the school. Wi-Fi, bed linens, access to a fully equipped kitchen, and welcome amenities are included. Towels and meals are not included.
	Host family : Located at a maximum of 15 minutes from the school in small cities approx. and 20-40 minutes in big cities, either walking or by public transportation. Bed linens, blankets, towels, Wi-Fi, and laundry service once a week are included. Some host families offer a bag lunch instead of a sit-down meal at home.
	Residence : Located at a 5-15 minute walk from the school (in high season maximum 30 minutes either walking or by public transportation). Wi-Fi, bed linens, towels, meals, weekly cleaning, and welcome amenities are included. Access to an area with kitchen utilities (microwave, coffeemaker...) and laundry facilities.
