Destination

Marbella is your typical, historic, Andalusian town that has been successfully able to preserve its character. Located in the southern Andalusian province of Málaga, it has a population of slightly more than 100,000 and is one of the most exclusive summer resorts in Europe. Marbella is also close to major cities and renowned cultural centres: Málaga (an important commercial and cultural centre with many historic monuments that attract numerous visitors from all over the world), Granada (with the magnificent Alhambra), and Seville (one of the most vibrant cities in Spain). Marbella has the typical Andalusian vibe and is well-connected with two nearby international airports: Malaga and Gibraltar.

The area surrounding Marbella is a well-known golfer’s paradise – You can play golf all day and even at night in the first illuminated golf course in Europe. Marbella is also famous for its breathtaking beaches and blue sea, world-renowned yacht harbours, beautiful landscapes, luxury hotels, shopping centres and energetic nightlife. The average temperature is 25 degrees Celsius, and the sun shines about 320 days year-round.

Enforex , our partner school, is located in the main central terrace of the Granada building, just 5 minutes from the beach. It is a large and modern building, close to everything in Marbella. International students will be among spanish students as th school also offers English, French and German classes.

The facilities are first-rate, featuring a 3500 square meter private terrace, a large common room and a study hall equipped with Internet, a reading room and a well-equipped literature library and video library. A refreshment and coffee machine is also available.

Spanish classes : general information

One lesson: 55 minutes
Maximum number of students per class: 10 (6 on average)
Timetable: 80% of general spanish classes are held in the morning from Monday to Fruday from 9:00 to 13:00, but they could also take place in the afternoon between 14:00 – 18:00 depending on the time of year

20 lessons per week

You will have classes from Monday to Friday from 9:00 – 13:00 or 14:00 – 18:00, where you will develop basic knowledge of the language: Written and oral exercises, comprehension la compréhension à l’audition et la lecture.Levels offered : beginners to advanced

25 lessons per week

In addition to the 20 lessons of general spanish, you will attend 5 conversational workshops per week. This programme is deisgned for students who wish to become more at ease in their oral skills and speak more fluently.

30 lessons per week

Ideal course for quick progess. This programme includes 20 lessons of general spanish + 5 cultural workshops of choice + 5 private or semi-private lessons (maximum of 2 students per class) per week in accordance to your needs.

Examples of cultural workshops : civilisation, media, cinema, creative writing, pronounciation, gastronomy, folklore, games and exercises prioritising dialogue and oral communication etc.

Levels offered : beginners to advanced

20 Spanish lessons per week (from the age of 18)

Preparatory sessions for these exams are available 2 and 4 weeks before each examination session (see Dates & Prices tab) according to the skill level at the rate of 20 lessons per week.

The DELE (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) is the only certificate for foreigners officially recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education. This degree holds great value for people wishing to study at a Spanish university or work in an environment where one speaks Spanish. We recommend that you take Spanish lessons for a sufficient amount of time before you start DELE preparatory courses and pass the exam.

Language levels: Elementary (A2) to Upper intermediate (B2)

Duration: 2 or 4 weeks

A strong understanding of Spanish culture is essential to communication in the language. Our afternoon cultural workshops are not only intended to serve as opportunities for students to practice their Spanish, but also as ways to learn the basics of Spanish history, art, and mass communication.

Spanish Radio: Students produce their own radio program based on national and international newscasts. The class requires students to listen to, collect and summarize information from Spanish broadcast media.
Press Workshop: Students produce their own newspaper/magazine based on news, cultural events, and popular traditions. The class requires students to conduct research in Spanish print media as well as to interview locals.
Drama Workshop: Students learn and perform extracts from well-known Spanish plays. In addition to the obvious cultural education that this workshop provides, it also aids students in learning to express themselves quickly with idiomatic terms.
History, Literature, & Art: Students learn to analyse some of Spain’s most famous writers and artists who reflect Spanish history. Students will also discover Spanish customs, gastronomy, and popular events.

In addition to the activities Marbella and its surroundings have to offer, the school organizes a variety of social and cultural activities or week-end trips such as:
