Discover Canada
Canada is the second largest country in the world by surface area and one of the world’s geographical miracles. But above all, it is a destination with numerous advantages for those wishing to study there:
- High quality of life and standard of living among the highest in the world
- Educational system recognized for its excellence and compatible with European systems
- Friendliness and hospitality of its population
- Cultural richness
- Safe environment and breathtaking landscapes.
Our partner schools are situated in Winnipeg in the central province of Manitoba, the 8th largest city in Canada (800,000 inhabitants). The region is known for its lakes, its numerous cultural activities (festivals, theatres, operas) and its geography: the region does not have many mountains, which allows cross-country skiers to practice their sport.
The United States and Canada are vast countries where geographical distances are very significant. The car is the primary means of transportation, and public transportation networks are generally less developed, except in some major cities. International students coming from Europe, where public transportation networks are more developed, will need to adapt to this difference when studying in North America and may need to reconsider their travel habits by planning their routes based on available transportation options.
Winnipeg is a fantastic destination for international students. It has all the advantages of a large city, but the cost of living is much lower than in Vancouver or Toronto. And the academic standards are just as high as anywhere else in the country.
The climate is typically Canadian: the summers are hot (up to 28°C), and the winters are dry and cold, with the temperature able to drop as low as -28°C. But the city is equipped for low temperatures.
