Our partner school has over 30 years’ experience. Located 5 minutes’ walk from the city centre, the school is well served by public transport: 2 bus stops are just opposite the entrance.

French courses: general information

Length of lesson: 45 minutes
Number of students per class: between 5 and 10
Timetable: lessons are generally given in the morning and/or afternoon, depending on the course chosen
Placement test: on the first day of the course
Certificate of attendance at the end of the course
University-qualified teachers (master’s degree in French as a foreign language)

20 lessons of general French per week
Minimum duration: 2 weeks

Maximum duration: 8 weeks (levels B1 to C1) and 10 weeks (levels A0 to A2)

With this programme, you will have lessons every morning from 9:00 to 10:30 and from 11:00 to 12:30, Monday to Friday. You will develop the 4 basic skills of written and oral expression, listening comprehension and reading.

Levels offered: beginner to advanced

20 lessons per week
Duration: 8, 16 or 24 weeks

This course is designed for adults wishing to consolidate their knowledge of French. The content is based on the language skills required for the DELF exam

Levels offered: elementary (A2) to upper intermediate (B2)

20 group lessons 10 mini-group lessons (5 to 10 students)

Duration: 2 to 8 weeks

In addition to the standard course, in the afternoons you will take 10 themed mini-group lessons focusing on oral practice and developing your knowledge: conversation, French culture (through the media, literature, theatre, music, etc.), phonetics and writing games, study visits, etc. Classes run from Monday to Friday according to the following timetable:

5 mornings a week: 9.00am – 10.30am; 11.00am – 12.30pm
4 afternoons a week: 2pm – 3.30pm
2 times a week: 4pm – 4:45pm

Levels offered: elementary (A1) to advanced (C1)

This tailor-made option offers maximum flexibility for students with specific needs. Courses can take place in the morning or afternoon, as required.

Duration: 2 weeks

This programme combines the standard programme with cultural options in the afternoon, to be chosen from :

Discovering Provence (approx. 20 hours): excursions and guided tours, tasting of local produce, etc
Discovering Provence on foot (approx. 17 hrs): guided walks through the magnificent Provençal countryside, which has attracted painters from all over the world for centuries

Levels offered: elementary (A1) to advanced (C1)
Minimum number of students required per option: 4

The school organises sports and cultural activities in the afternoons and evenings, in which you are free to participate or not. These activities may be free or at cost, and their frequency varies according to the time of year.

Examples of possible activities:

Cooking lessons and wine tasting
Guided tour of the market
Pastry-making, writing and language workshops, etc.
Petanque tournament with aperitif
Tree climbing
Hiking
Sailing (mainly in summer, but available all year round on request)
Full-day or half-day excursions: Arles, Avignon, Cassis, Marseille, Saint-Tropez, Baux-de-Provence, Camargue, Pont du Gard, Luberon, etc.

Single room and breakfast

Travel time to school: families are carefully selected within a radius of around 20 minutes by bus or 30 minutes on foot.

Practical information :

Bed linen and towels provided and changed weekly (towels) or fortnightly (sheets)
Possibility of doing your own washing (the family usually makes its washing machine available once a week or will let you know on what day it will be done)
Cleaning will be done once a week
